I'm a college student ,and I love wearing braids because they're so easy
to take care of and doesn't take a lot of time to style in the morning.
After about a year of constant braid wear, my edges looked pretty bare and I was racking my brain trying to figure out what I could use to replenish them again. After trying expensive shampoo and conditions followed by drying lotions and greases, I decided to ask my friends. They all told me about DOO-GRO. Well they raved about it stating "my hair would grow so fast that it would be nappy in no time", but I was a little hesitant to buy another hair grease that I would use for a few weeks and then let sit on my dresser with the rest of the hair products not in use.
After about another week of continuous hair breakage around my edges, I figured I had nothing to lose and went to a local beauty supply to buy what I prayed was the solution to my problem. I purchased DOO GRO® Mega Thick Medicated Hair Vitalizer. Within ONE WEEK, I SAW RESULTS!!! I couldn't believe that my hair was ACTUALLY GROWING in an area that usually didn't respond to anything! I loved the way that I could use a lot or a little and it always responded with more growth and didn't leave a horrible greasy messy on my pillows or scarves.
Since then, I have purchased the oils, the shampoo, and the triple strength vitalizer. I love the way it smells, and the oils are perfect for those who wear microbraids and kinky(african) twists! I have told my mother and sister about Doo-Gro who have purchased their own jars of the hair grease and oils which they use daily, but I let them tell you about their results for themselves-- LOL!
